Sending Money With M-Pesa Using SIM Toolkit (STK)

The SIM Toolkit method is the most traditional way to access M-Pesa services directly from your phone's menu.

Steps:

1. Select M-PESA
2. Send Money
3. Enter Phone No.
4. Enter Amount
5. Enter M-PESA PIN
6. You will receive a message that prompts you to confirm on the mobile number and the amount you are to send.
7. A message will pop up with Cancel or Ok. You can Cancel if you notice that the number entered is not correct or select Ok if the details are correct.
8. Another message will pop up with the name of the person you were sending money to, the amount the person will receive and the cost of the transaction.
9. You can either select 1 to Accept (if the details given are correct) or select 2 to Cancel (if you notice an error in the transaction).

Sending Money in M-Pesa Using M-Pesa Super App

The M-Pesa Super App offers enhanced features and a user-friendly interface for managing your mobile money transactions.

Initial Setup:

1. Download the M-PESA supper App from Apple store or Google play store.
2. When you sign in for the first time, you will be required to turn on your mobile data to ensure a secure log in. Thereafter, you will sign in using Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.
3. Accept the terms and conditions
4. Enter a valid M-PESA PIN for authentication
5. Register your fingerprints or facial recognition to use in authenticating the transactions (For customers whose handsets have biometric features)

Sending Money Steps:

1. Open the M-PESA App
2. On the home tab select send and request
3. Select send money
4. Enter phone number or select the number from your contacts
5. Enter amount
6. Complete the transaction using M-PESA PIN or biometric authentication.
7. You will receive an SMS confirmation that funds have been sent from your M-PESA Account

The Safaricom App provides access to M-Pesa services alongside other Safaricom products and services.

Setup Process:

1. Customers will need to download the Safaricom App from Apple store or google play store

Steps:
