Method 1: Using USSD (*234#)
The most straightforward way to activate Fuliza ya Biashara is through the USSD menu:
- Dial *234# from your nominated number
- Select M-PESA Business Till
- Enter your HO/Store Number
- Choose Business Loans
- Select Fuliza ya Biashara (also called Boost ya Biashara)
- Choose Join Now
- Accept the Terms & Conditions
- Enter your Operator ID
- Enter your Operator PIN
- Complete the opt-in process
Method 2: M-PESA Business App
Smartphone users can activate the service through the M-PESA Business App:
- Download the M-PESA Business App from Google Play Store
- Navigate to the business loans section
- Select Fuliza ya Biashara
- Follow the on-screen prompts to activate
Upon successful activation, merchants receive an SMS confirmation with their assigned credit limit.
